Apparently, there are “shoppers like me” who cross-shop beater Accord’s with LaFerrari’s and vintage Jaguar XKE’s.

And lets also throw in a Lexus IS250 and a Veyron just to keep our options open!

They must know you’re an Opponaut, because I do the same thing. Cars I can kind of afford to look at versus dreaming.

i like how you could get either the Ferrari, or all the other cars, which wouldn’t really be surprising until you see that would include a Veyron and a McLaren.

my cars.com does the same thing. it just can;t handle us.

I’d really be interested how in the flying fuck that XKE is supposed to sell for 3/4 mil. Avg. value per Hagerty for a 4.2 roadster (‘64 was the crossover 3.8->4.2 year), which is the most valuable option, is $144k.

Maybe it has some kind of 3.8 to 4.2 transitional oddity and is concours, but I’m failing to see how any kind of enhanced rarity past “was photographically proven as dragoned by Malcolm Sayer” would add another 600 Gs.
